FAQs

Occasionally, one of your delegates may experience problems when trying to complete the questionnaire. Please take a look at our FAQs below to enable you to support them with this:

E-mail already in use

If you have registered with us before, click here https://app.colour-profiling.com/ and login using previous credentials rather than re-registering. Re-registering will create a duplicate user and take an additional seat, incurring further costs for your organisation.

Having problems registering

Most common reasons for experiencing problems on registration are:

 

1. Your invitation has timed out. The invitation has an expiry of 14 days for security purposes. In this instance you will need to contact your C-me Administrator to ask them to resend your invitation.

 

2. Using an expired invitation. If you have already had an invitation resent, you will need to make sure you are using the correct invitation i.e. the latest invitation sent as all previous would have expired.

 

3. Using an incorrect email address to register. For security purposes the invitation is uniquely linked to the recipient email address so you will need to ensure that is the email address you are using to register.

 

4. There are not enough seats remaining on your organisation's subscription. In this instance you will have to contact your C-me Administrator to ask them to organise additional subscription seats.

 

Unable to login

If you have already registered, or your organisation has recently been migrated to our new platform, you will need to login at https://app.colour-profiling.com/ Please ensure you are using the same email address and password originally set up at registration.  

 

Forgotten password

If you have previously registered and have forgotten your password please use the ‘forgot password’ link. This will e-mail you a link to reset your password. You will need to use the reset password link promptly as it is set to time out within a short window, for your security.

Questionnaire isn't saving my chosen scores and won't allow me to continue

It might be that you are trying to use the same score for more than one group of words.

 

Each number (1-4) can only be used once, so you need to rank the statements with the group being most like you scoring 1, through to the group sounding least like you scoring 4.

 

Please do read through the instructions at the beginning of the questionnaire for further help with this. 

I need to retake the questionnaire

If you have recently completed your report but have an issue with its resonance, we suggest the following:

 

1. Giving yourself some time to reflect, potentially attending any planned workshops before revisiting your profile for a second take.

 

2. Others sometimes see things in us we don’t necessarily see ourselves, so it may be useful to discuss with a close friend or colleague, to gain another perspective.

 

3. Finally if you still feel your profile doesn’t give an accurate picture of your preference (80% or more in terms of resonance) and you would like the opportunity to retake the questionnaire, you can do so by scrolling down to 'Retake questionnaire' in User settings on the profile platform and clicking the Retake questionnaire button.

 

We would encourage you to speak to your C-me Administrator ahead of retaking as they will receive a copy of your new profile on completion, by default.
